The course “Clinical trials and AI: design faster and start smarter with Clincraft” offers an updated overview of the evolution of clinical trials, highlighting the need for innovation in an increasingly digital context. ClinCraft, the new software developed by IDM Insight to support the start-up phase of clinical studies with a focus on protocol design, will be presented. A live demo of the software in action will then be shown, along with selected case studies.

WHIT ALESSIO DE SIMONE

Alessio De Simone is an expert in drug discovery and clinical development, with a strong academic background in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology (University of Pisa) and a PhD in Drug Discovery and Development obtained between the Italian Institute of Technology and the University of Oxford. After post-doctoral research experience in Edinburgh and a role as Senior Scientist at Sygnature Discovery (UK), he held managerial positions in the international clinical field. He is currently Chief Medical Officer at IDM Insight and works as a freelance consultant. His focus includes computational and medicinal chemistry, clinical studies, and the use of artificial intelligence in drug development.t.
